WHA WELCOMES INVESTORS TO OPEN HOUSE SITE VISIT IN THANH HOA
THANH HOA, VIETNAM – [29 March 2026] – WHA Industrial Development was pleased to welcome partners, investors, and industry representatives to the Open House Site Visit at WHA Smart Technology Industrial Zone 1 – Thanh Hoa. The event provided a firsthand look at the project during its critical pre-operation development phase.

Showcasing the Smart Eco Master Plan
During the visit, participants explored the master planning concept and development progress of the zone. WHA representatives shared deep-dive insights into the "Smart Eco" vision, which integrates advanced digital management with sustainable infrastructure to support high-tech manufacturing and supporting industries.

Key highlights presented during the Open House include:
• Immediate Construction Availability: Investors learned that selected plots are already available for handover, allowing for immediate site preparation.
• Infrastructure Milestones: Phase 1 infrastructure is targeted for substantial completion by December 2026.
• Turnkey Solutions: The introduction of the WHA Vietnam Innovation Park, offering Ready-Built Factory (RBF) and hybrid warehouse solutions designed for faster market entry.
Fostering Partnerships for Sustainable Growth
The Open House served as a valuable networking platform, sparking partnership discussions between WHA and several potential global collaborators. By opening the site during the development phase, WHA continues to demonstrate transparency and its long-term commitment to supporting manufacturers expanding into Vietnam’s Northern Economic Corridor.

TEXTILE AND GARMENT SECTOR POSTS NEARLY $10 BILLION TRADE SURPLUS IN H1
The textile and garment industry generated an estimated trade surplus of nearly US$10 billion in the first six months of this year, despite weak global demand, intense price competition and continued reliance on imported raw materials. The industry is aiming to achieve its full-year export target of $48 billion. According to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), exports reached an estimated $22.2 billion in the first half, up 1.7 per cent from the previous year.

Vietnam disbursed $2.3 billion for key transport infrastructure projects in the first half of 2026, but sluggish spending on two flagship railway projects continued to weigh on overall public investment progress. According to the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the Ministry of Construction (MoC) and local authorities allocated approximately $9.8 billion in state budget investment for major transport infrastructure projects in 2026, accounting for around 22 per cent of the country's total public investment plan.
